Brad Frenette is an actor, director, and educator originally from Sterling Heights, Michigan. He has been working professionally in the Musical Theatre for over a decade, having performed principal roles on national and European tours including Hello Dolly, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, and Madagascar. He’s also been seen in regional houses that include Goodspeed Opera House, Paper Mill Playhouse, and Stages St. Louis. As an instructor, he’s been honored with the ATHE Prize for Innovative Teaching and The Helen DeVitt Jones Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award. Prior to his current appointment at Denison, Brad taught musical theatre performance and acting at Texas Tech University, Penn State’s Summer Musical Theatre Intensive, and The MUNY Summer Intensive. He holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Penn State and an M.F.A. in Performance Pedagogy from Texas Tech. Brad is also a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
